Harmony House is a charitable organization providing a wide range of services to support the victims and combat domestic violence. We are seeking dedicated people who share our values and contribute to the growth of the organization.

  1.  Project Supervisor (Ref. Code: PS) (3.5 Years New Project)

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and develop a pilot-service team specialized in Non-violent Communication (NVC) and body-mind-spirit intervention approach.
  2. Manage the overall planning and operation of the Project and set up of New Centre
  3. Provide direct service including counseling, group and program
  4. Prepare written reports to the senior management and funder
  5. Supervise professional staff
  6. Build and maintain strategic partnership with the relevant parties for collaboration
  7. Project evaluation and develop sustainability plans

 

Requirements:

  • Registered Social Worker (RSW), degree holder or above in Social Work or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years work experience with individuals or families
  • Training and experience with NVC or body-mind-spirit intervention approach e.g. mindfulness, focusing or meditation will be an asset
  • Independent, good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Solid experiences in partnership building and project management.

 

  1. Counsellor / Social Worker (Ref. Code: ASWO) (3.5 Years New Project)

Responsibilities:

  1.  Execute and develop a pilot-service specialized in Non-violent Communication (NVC) and body-mind-spirit intervention approach
  2.  Provide direct service including hotline, counseling, group and program
  3.  Collaborate with strategic partners
  4.  Coordinate service delivery and write up service report
  5.  Organize promotion of the Center services at online platforms.

 

Requirements:

  • Registered Social Worker (RSW), degree holder or above in Social Work/ Counseling
  • At least 2 years work experience with individuals or families, preferably with ethnic minorities
  • Training and experience with NVC or body-mind-spirit intervention approach e.g. mindfulness, focusing or meditation will be an asset
  • Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Self-motivated, good interpersonal communication skills and team player.

 

  1. Program Assistant (Ref. Code: PA) (3.5 Years New Project)

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support in service implementation for service users including but not those for ethnic minorities (EM)
  2. Assist in networking potential service users of ethnic minorities
  3. Assist in the production of promotional and educational materials in EM languages and contents updates for online platforms
  4. Assist in daily operation and administrative duties including logistics and clerical support, facilities management and reception.
  5. Keep records and compilation of statistical information and report.

 

      Requirements:

  • Diploma or above
  • At least 1 year working experience
  • Have experienced in working with EM service users.
  • Good computer skills required.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in conducting programs and activities, launching publicity and networking activities.
  • Outgoing, a team player with good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English, both in written and spoken forms;

and be proficient in Nepali, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi, in written and spoken forms, preferably know simple Chinese

IV.  Assistant Supervisor for Women Shelter (Ref. code: ASS)

 Responsibilities

  1. Assist the shelter supervisor in the administration and daily operation of the shelter
  2. Supervise social workers
  3. Delivery of hotline, case work, group and program services for the residents
  4. Monitoring of renovation project
  5. Evening, weekend and public holiday duties required

    Requirements

  • Registered social worker and degree holder with at least 3 years of post-graduate work experience
  • Experience in working with victims of domestic violence preferred
  • Experience in residential care setting is an asset
  • Self-motivated and team player
  • Duty allowance is available

 

V. Administrative Assistant -[Kwun Tong] (Ref. Code: AA)

Responsibilities:

  1.  Responsible for the full spectrum of office administration and clerical support, including reception
  2.  Maintain filing and document control system
  3.  Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers or contractors on office supplies and maintenance
  4.  Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure smooth daily operations
  5.  Assists in ah-hoc tasks as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Above
  • Effective communication skills and strong sense of responsibility
  • Strong interpersonal skill, good co-ordination, organization skill and with attention to details
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  • Relevant work experience an advantage

 

** Posts of I, II, III, IV and V are 5-day work / 44 work hours per week **
