Harmony House is a charitable organization providing a wide range of services to support the victims and combat domestic violence. We are seeking dedicated people who share our values and contribute to the growth of the organization.

 

  1. New project on prevention of domestic violence Project

 

      1a)  Project Supervisor (Ref. : PS)

            Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the overall planning, operation, and development of the Project
  2. Provide direct service including casework, groups, community education programs and multi-disciplinary training
  3. Prepare written reports to the senior management and funder
  4. Build and maintain strategic partnership with relevant parties
  5. Implement project evaluation and develop sustainability plans

Requirements:

  • Registered Social Worker, degree holder or above in Social Work
  • At least 8 years of post-graduate relevant work experience
  • Independent, good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Solid experiences in partnership building and project management

 

      1b) Part-time Clinical Supervisor (Ref. : CS)

            Responsibilities:

  1. Provide clinical supervision in cases, groups and programs 
  2. Assign cases and perform case management services
  3. Conduct case conferences and provide training to enhance staff’s clinical skills
  4. Assist in documentation of research data with the research team and production of a research report
  5. Handle complicated cases and provide direct service in casework, groups and programs
  6. Prepare funding proposals and develop sustainability plans

 

Requirements:

  • Graduate level Degree in Social Work / Counseling or above
  • At least 10 years of clinical practice
  • Supervisory and training experience essential
  • Excellent communication skills, independent and devoted in helping   profession

 

      1c) Social Workers / Counselors/Counselling Psychologists (Ref. : SW/C)

            Responsibilities:

  1. Provide hotline, case and group counseling services
  2. Conduct publicity programs and community education talks
  3. Organize volunteer community participation programs and mutual help    groups
  4. Manage project website and social media platform
  5. Liaise with project partners

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work /Counseling or above
  • At least 3 years of post-graduate relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate with users through social media
  • Good presentation skills and team player

 

      1d) Half time Program Assistant (Ref. : HT/PA)

                Responsibilities:

  1. Assist professional staff in program implementation
  2. Provide administrative or clerical support in project activities
  3. Complete statistical data
  4. Manage the project website and social media platform of the project
  5. Assist reception duties

Requirements:

  • HKCEE/Diploma of secondary education or above
  • At least one year NGO work experience
  • Ability to communicate with users through social media
  • Outgoing, motivated and a team player
  • Good telephone and computer skill required

 

2. Social Work Assistant for Women Shelter (Ref. Code: SWA)

      Responsibilities:

  1. Provide hotline counselling service
  2. Organize child care support groups/programs
  3. Provide parent-child relationship enhancement program
  4. Conduct brief counseling, risk and need assessment

   Requirements:

  • Diploma/Associate Degree in Social Work or above, RSW
  • 1 year relevant working experience preferred
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
  • Overnight shift and weekend duties commensurate with duty allowance

 

 

3. Family Support Worker for Women Shelter (Ref. Code: FSW)

    Responsibilities:

  1. Provide hotline counselling service
  2. Organize child care support/parent-child relationship enhancement program for shelter residents
  3. Provide support to the daily functioning of residents

   Requirements:

  • HKCEE/Diploma or above
  • 1 year working experience preferred
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
  • Overnight shift and weekend duties commensurate with duty allowance

 

4. Full Time & Part Time Program Assistant (Ref. Code: FTPA/PTPA)

   Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support in program implementation
  2. Assist in the production and distribution of promotional materials and website update
  3. Coordinate and keep filing of donation in-kind internally
  4. Update and keep records of contact lists and news coverage and compilation of statistical information and report
  5. Handle the calls of Children Hotline
  6. Assist in reception work

     Requirements:

  • Diploma or above
  • At least 1 year working experience
  • Good computer skills required
  • Responsible, willing to learn and multi-tasking
  • Social media and basic video production experience is a plus, but not necessary

 

     ** Part Time Positions are 5-day work / 22 work hours per week

            Full Time Positions are 5 day work / 44 work hours per week **
