I. Assistant Supervisor for Women Shelter (Ref. Code: ASS)

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise Social Workers
  2. Assist to monitor overall shelter management and operation
  3. Provide case and group interventions for shelter residents
  4. Support hotline service

 

       Requirements:

  • Registered social worker and degree holder with at least 3 years of post-graduate work experience
  • Experience in working with women and children, especially victims of domestic violence preferred
  • Residential experience an asset
  • Self-motivated and team player
  • 5-Day work / 44 work hours per week
  • Evening and weekend duties required

 

II.  Social Worker for Women’s Shelter (Ref. Code: HSW)

Responsibilities:

  1. Render casework and therapeutic groups for female victims of domestic violence and their children
  2. Implement aftercare services and programs for the women and children
  3. Provide crisis intervention and hotline services
  4. Assist shelter management and operation

Requirements:

  • Registered social worker with one year post degree work experience in social work
  • Diploma holder or equivalent with solid work experience with women and children will also be considered
  • Shift duty required
  • Independent, reliable team player with passion to serve
  • 5-Day work / 44 work hours per week

 

III.  Social Work Assistant for Women Shelter (Ref. Code: SWA)

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide hotline counselling service
  2. Organize child care support groups/program
  3. Provide parent-child relationship enhancement program
  4. Conduct brief counseling, risk and need assessment

Requirements:

  • RSW
  • Diploma/Associate Degree in Social Work or above
  • 1 year social service experience preferred
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
  • Night shift and weekend duties commensurate with special allowance
  • 5-Day work / 44 work hours per week

 IV. Family Support Worker for Women Shelter (Ref. Code: FSW)

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide hotline counselling service
  2. Organize child care support/parent-child relationship enhancement program for shelter residents
  3. Provide support to the daily functioning of residents

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Associate Degree or above
  • 1 year working experience preferred
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
  • ight shift and weekend duties commensurate with special allowance
  • 5-Day work / 44 work hours per week

V. Jockey Club Community Project Grant on Domestic Violence

Senior Community Education Officer (Ref. code : Com. SED)

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic planning for community education program &  campaigns / exhibition
  2. Coordinate the project publicity and service promotion
  3. Work with the media and external bodies in responses to domestic violence issues and cross-sector disciplines
  4. Conduct the training and workshops to the multi-disciplinary staff in dealing with domestic violence
  5. Provide supervision to the community education team

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of post-degree relevant work experience
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multi-tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Independent and good communication skills

 

VI. Jockey Club Community Project Grant on Domestic Violence

Community Education Officer (Ref. Code: Com. Ed)

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct educational and developmental programs for women survivors of domestic violence
  2. Design and implement public awareness campaigns and programs to promote zero tolerance to domestic violence
  3. Recruit, train and mobilize volunteers to support hotline services and campaigns
  4. Assist in promotion write-ups, press release and related publication development

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work/Counseling or other related discipline
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in women’s work an asset
  • Experience in publications and educational materials
  • Good writing skills in English and Chinese

 

VII. Jockey Club Community Project Grant on Domestic Violence

Social Worker (SW)

Responsibilities:

  1. Render casework and therapeutic groups for victims of domestic violence
  2. Provide crisis support and hotline services
  3. Assist in community outreach and network
  4. Support management and operation of service project

  

     Requirements:

  • Registered social worker with degree in social work
  • 2 years’ relevant working experience
  • Shift duty may be required
  • Independent, reliable team player with passion to serve

 

VIII. Jockey Club Community Project Smart Kids

Social Worker / Counselor (Ref. Code: SW/C)

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide case counseling, conduct therapeutic groups and educational programs for children and parents affected by domestic violence
  2. Conduct violence prevention programs in schools / kindergartens
  3. Assist hotline counseling service
  4. Coordinate service delivery and write up service report

  Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work / Counseling or above
  • At least 2 years relevant work experience
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
  • 44 work hours per week

 

IX. Clerical Assistant for Women’s Shelter (Ref. Code: CA)

Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with contractors to follow up repair, maintenance and renovation works
  2. Prepare price comparisons and maintain good filing system
  3. Provide administrative and clerical support

 

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills
  • rganized, systematic and strong sense of responsibility
  • HKCEE / HKDSE (pass in English and Chinese) or Above
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Chinese Word Processing
  • Relevant work experience an advantage
  • 5-Day work / 44 work hours per week

 

X. Part Time Clerical Assistant for Women’s Shelter (Ref. Code: CA-PT)

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Handling filing, petty cash
  2. Simple book-keeping of program budget and expenditures
  3. Keep record of HH receipts, cheques, documents and resources books
  4. Keep stock of stationery

 

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills
  • rganized, systematic and strong sense of responsibility
  • HKCEE / HKDSE (pass in English and Chinese) or Above
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Chinese Word Processing
  • Relevant work experience an advantage
  • 5-Day work / 44 work hours per week

 

XI. 庶務員(宿舍)

  •    小六程度,懂中文書寫及閱讀
  •    負責打理婦女中心,包括清潔、外勤、園藝及雜物
  •    每週工作48小時,需輪班及輪休
  •    享有每月額外津貼、有薪年假、銀行假期、醫療津貼等福利
  •    2年工作經驗,具相關工作經驗者可獲優先考慮
