Harmony House is a charitable organization providing a wide range of services to support the victims and combat domestic violence. We are seeking dedicated people who share our values and contribute to the growth of the organization.

 

I. Social Worker for Women Shelter (Ref: HSW)

Responsibilities:

   Render casework and therapeutic groups for female victims of domestic violence and their children

  1. Implement aftercare services and programs for the women and children
  2. Provide crisis intervention and hotline services
  3. Assist shelter management and operation

Requirements:

    • Degree in Social Work, RSW
    • One year relevant working experience preferred
    • Shift and weekend duties commensurate with duty allowance
    • Independent, reliable team player with passion to serve

 

II. Social Worker / Counselor (Ref. Code: SW/C) – Kwun Tong

Responsibilities:

    1. Provide case counseling to families suffering from domestic violence
    2. Conduct therapeutic groups and educational programs for perpetrators and other family members affected by domestic violence
    3. Carry out the community education programs for kindergartens and schools
    4. Provide hotline counseling service
    5. Liaise with community organizations for service promotion

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work / Counseling or above
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience
  • Work experience with male and couple is an asset.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
  • Night duty is required.

 

III. Social Work Assistant for Women Shelter (Ref. Code: SWA)

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide hotline counselling service
  2. Organize child care support groups/programs
  3. Provide parent-child relationship enhancement program
  4. Conduct brief counseling, risk and need assessment

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Associate Degree in Social Work or above, RSW
  • 1 year relevant working experience preferred
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
  • Overnight shift and weekend duties commensurate with duty allowance

 

VI. Family Support Worker for Women Shelter (Ref. Code: FSW)

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide hotline counselling service
  2. Organize child care support/parent-child relationship enhancement program for shelter residents
  3. Provide support to the daily functioning of residents

Requirements:

  • HKCEE/Diploma or above
  • 1 year working experience preferred
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
  • Overnight shift and weekend duties commensurate with duty allowance

 

V. IT officer (Ref. code: ITO) [Kwun Tong]

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform technical support on network, system, software and application systems.
  2. Providing direct user assistance and support, including write up procedural documentation and reports
  3. Provide regular system/data backup and data synchronization recovery where applicable.
  4. Manage telephone system, hardware and software inventories and maintenance contract.
  5. Assist in ad hoc tasks / projects as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Computer Science/Software Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 year relevant work experience
  • High integrity, pro-active and able to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Previous work experience in project management is an asset

 

VI. Administrative Assistant (Ref. code: AA) [Kwun Tong]

   Responsibilities:

  1. Handle HR duties including recruitment, update system records and personnel file records management
  2. Maintain good central filing system
  3. Prepare reports and update records
  4. Handle office administrative duties and office procurement
  5. Provide support on clerical and ad hoc assignments

Requirements:

  • HKCEE/Diploma or above
  • At least 1 year working experience
  • Organized, systematic and able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Chinese Word Processing
  • Relevant work experience an advantage

 

** All Positions are 5-day work / 44 work hours per week **
